Jules Gluten Free makes a really good gluten free all purpose flour. It’s my favorite gluten free all purpose flour and I’ve been substituting it in some of my gluten free recipes with good results. I’ve also tried substituting it for regular (white flour made from wheat) flour in some regular recipes as well. I substituted Jules Gluten Free All Purpose Flour in the Nestle Toll House Cookie recipe to make delicious chocolate chip cookies. They did spread a little more on the parchment lined pan than I remember them spreading with regular flour but they were delicious. Today I’m participating in the Food Blogger Great American Bakesale to support the No Kid Hungry Campaign . You can visit Share Our Strength for more information about the campaign to end childhood hunger. Rachel at The Fromagette has organized the Bellingham bakesale, which will be in front of Village Books in Historic Fairhaven this morning. Rachel’s culinary creations are amazing! This morning’s shoppers in Fairhaven are in for a treat. I’ve made Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies for the sale. I used Jules Gluten Free All Purpose Flour and the chocolate chip cookie recipe from the Jules Gluten Free website . The recipe can be found here . Cindy

Stocking up when I find a good price is how I shop, then I plan meals around what I have in the freezer and in the pantry that was purchased cheap. Back to last weekend's trip.  They had some gluten-free vanilla sandwich cookies for 99 cents per package.  That's about 1/5 the cost of the gluten-free sandwich cookies at the co-op.  I hadn't tried them before, but ...
